Authentic Japanese Sword
Condition
The blade is of kanmuri-otoshi zukuri construction, and the steel shows a slightly pronounced (masame-like) grain, suggesting workmanship in the Yamato tradition.
Based on the shape of the tang (nakago), it is considered attributable to the Sue-Niō school.
Please note that display items such as the sword stand and cushion used in the photographs are not included.
Due to age, there may be signs of wear such as scuffs and minor old scratches.
