Condition
Based on characteristics such as the high shinogi ridge and yakizume boshi, the blade appears to be in the style of the Yamato tradition, possibly related to the Tegai school. There is some wear and damage around the hamachi area. |

Background
As the adopted son of Yokoyama Yusei, Yukane, who presents this sword, succeeded Shichibei Yusadaie.
Yuhei of the Soemon family, his second son Kagasuke Sukenaga (a Bizen domain craftsman), and Yukane, who presents this sword, are recommended as the three great figures of Bizen Osafune swordsmanship during the Shin Shinto period.
